2010 Medal of Valor Recipients

Police officers Bernard Oksenberg, Phillip Landona, and Edward Magera of the Ansonia, Connecticut police department were recipients of the 2010 Medal of Valor in recognition of their heroic actions on October 2, 2009, during which they rescued a wheelchair bound woman from a dwelling fire.
