Pictures from the 83rd Annual Conference

Chief Anthony Salvatore (Cromwell, CT), President of the New England Association of Chiefs of Police (2007-2008), opened the 83rd Annual Meeting at the Seacrest Oceanfront Resort & Conference Center in North Falmouth, Massachusetts which was held between September 7th and 10th, 2008.
Executive Director John D. Coyle welcomed the membership to the meeting, reviewed the training and social events agenda, and discussed the process for the annual election of officers.
Local Greetings were extended by Chief Anthony Riello of the Falmouth Police Department.
Edmund Zigmund, Program Specialist for the Office of State and Local Training - Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, presented training sessions on "Police Use of Force" and "First Responders: Are You Ready?".
A training session on "Responding to Crimes Against the Elderly" was presented by FLETC Program Specialist Scott Santoro.

The ceremonial procession of the Executive Board in to the Annual Banquet is led by Chief Anthony Salvatore.

The Pawtucket, Rhode Island Police Department honor guard presented the colors during the opening of the Annual Banquet.
Executive Director Coyle congratulated Chief George Kelley, Pawtucket, RI Police Department upon his installation as the 2008-2009 President of the New England Association of Chiefs of Police
Incoming President Kelley thanked Past President Salvatore for his service to the Association.
Executive Director Coyle, accompanied by John Grebert, Executive Director of the NY State Association of Chiefs of Police, acknowledged Captain Eugene Burke (ret. NYPD) who was awarded Life Membership in the Assocation in recognition of his years of dedicated service.
Chief Salvatore thanked Past IACP President Joseph Carter for his service on the Executive Board of the New England Association of Chiefs of Police.
